Spiritual family in real life
God began with a household.
When God chose Abraham, He said it was so “he may command his children and his household after him” (Genesis 18:19). That is the pattern Life Groups follow.
A Life Group is not a mini church service, a casual hangout, or a weekly routine to check off. It is a covenant community: a small spiritual family where you are known by name, cared for beyond Sunday, formed in the Word, and released into purpose.
What you will experience
Every Life Group carries the same DNA as Firm Foundation.

Worship
We pause to connect with God together through thanksgiving, prayer, and reflecting on His goodness. Psalm 95:6.

Fellowship
This is where church becomes family. You are seen, known, and loved, not just another face in the room. Acts 2:44.

Discipleship
The Word shapes how we actually live, not just what we know. James 1:22.

Ministry
We carry each other's burdens: the real stuff of life, not just Sunday-best conversation. Galatians 6:2.

Evangelism
No group stays closed in on itself. We are always praying for, inviting, and welcoming others in.
How it works
Warm, simple, and deeply intentional.
Groups run throughout the year and meet every other week in homes and various locations around the city. A typical gathering runs about 60-90 minutes.

What actually happens at a Life Group?
Each gathering has a simple rhythm: welcome, thanksgiving or testimony, Scripture conversation, focused prayer, and planning around who the group can reach next.
Is a Life Group just a Bible study?
It is more than that. Studying the Word is a big part of it, but a Life Group is also where you are cared for, prayed for, and known.
Do I need to be a member?
Not at all. Life Groups are for anyone who wants to connect, whether you have been coming for years or this is your first month.
What if I do not know anyone?
Every group has a leader who expects new faces and helps with introductions. You will not be the only new person for long.
Will I be put on the spot?
No one is forced to pray or share out loud. You can share as much or as little as you are comfortable with.
Is there a cost?
There is no cost to join. Some groups may share snacks or potlucks, but that is always optional.
